Soot Cleanup at Hickory Townhome

If soot isn't properly removed, it can further set into materials and become practically impossible to remove. In fact, unless you have the knowledge and tools to remove it, it's best to leave it alone until professionals arrive. That's exactly what happened at this Hickory, NC townhome when a fire broke out in their outside storage shed. Heavy layers of soot covered the interior walls and the door (as shown in the left photo). Our technicians promptly arrived and used dry chemical sponges and proprietary chemicals to remove the soot (shown in the photo on the right). The customers were thankful that we made it possible to have their door repainted!
