Green Air Mover Drying Wet Concrete Flooring We use state-of-the-art equipment and drying techniques to clean up water damage in your home or business!

Nearly every day, our team receives calls from homeowners and business owners who have water damage in their home. These incidents can occur for a number of reasons: pipe leaking, the water heater bursting, or even just rain waters flooding their basement. We’ve found it can affect any person in any number of ways.

Fortunately, as a water cleanup and restoration company, we’re experts in cleaning up water damage. After more than 10 years, we’ve helped thousands of homes recover from disasters.

The Mitigation Process

At SERVPRO of Alexander & Caldwell Counties, we believe it’s important that our customers understand the restoration process. Our certified professionals follow standards set by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Although these steps can vary in certain circumstances, we generally use the following process:

  1. Assess the damage. The first thing our technicians do is evaluate both the damage and its source. Our team will check moisture levels and decide on the best approach to completely dry affected rooms and materials.
  1. Extract standing water. After assessing the situation and ensuring the source has been addressed, our technicians will begin to extract any standing water. We have state-of-the-art equipment that allows us to efficiently remove water.
  1. Set drying equipment. Next, our team will accelerate the drying process by using high-velocity fans (known as air movers) and dehumidifiers. The equipment will increase the evaporation rate and allow wet materials to thoroughly dry out.
  1. Evaluate affected areas to meet drying goals. During subsequent visits, our crew will check on the status of the drying process. Once drying goals have been met (which were determined in the initial visit), we will remove all of the equipment from your home!
