Water Heater Leak in Conover, NC

As water heaters age, they tend to weaken and become prone to leaks, which can cause a lot of water damage. That's exactly what happened in the partially finished basement at this home. The first step was ensuring that the water heater had been addressed so that it did not continue to leak. Afterward, we began the extraction and drying processes.

Between the before and after photos (shown above), you can see that the vinyl plank flooring was removed. That's because the flooring was overly saturated and was no longer usable. We instead had it removed and dried out the concrete exterior; the plank flooring will be replaced at a later date.

The customer was very happy that we were able to get her basement back to a workable condition!
